Last Prisoner Project, a nonprofit organization based out of California is aiming to give cannabis convicted prisoners their lives back. Conceived in 2019 by dispensary owner and activist Steve DeAngelo, the organization developed three main priorities – clemency, re-entry, and advocacy.
